The Noisy Paint Box tells the story of a young boy growing up learning to be a proper Russian. Vasya received a gift that would change his life; a paint box! The colors inside spoke to him with beautiful sounds which he learned to appreciate as he grew older. Kandinsky had a condition known at Synesthesia where colors have sounds! The Noisy Paintbox story tells of this unusual condition and how it effected Kandinsky's life in such a positive way.
This is a story about the life of Vasya Kandinsky presented by Emily Horvat. I like it because the wonderful sound effects illustrate what it might be like to have the condition of Synesthesia, through which colors have sound.
